General Information and Work HistoryWith over 20 years in professional practice, Jacqui Rose is an experienced psychologist who began her career as an Organisational Psychologist before transitioning into clinical practice. She completed her clinical training as a Counselling Psychologist in Melbourne and has since worked extensively in the private mental health sector in both Australia and New Zealand. Her experience encompasses a broad spectrum of psychological services, including individual and group work and organisational consulting.
In addition to her therapeutic work, Jacqui serves as a Director at Lifespan alongside Deborah Perrott. Areas of InterestJacqui's practice encompasses a wide range of therapeutic services. Areas of specialist knowledge include youth and child psychology, anxiety disorders, stress management, depression, treatment for trauma recovery, with a particular focus on sexual trauma/violence/assault. Jacqui is registered with ACC Sensitive Claims as a treating provider and is also able to undertake Specialist Assessments for ACC Sensitive Claims.
In addition, Jacqui is an experienced career coach and able to provide leadership coaching and development to individuals at a senior level as well as career guidance, advice and support to youth and younger adults. Jacqui employs a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Mindfulness-Based treatment, and Behavioural Interventions and Strategies. |
