She has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, anger management, sexual, violence and non-violence risk and needs, and relationship concerns.
Areas of InterestNamrata is particularly passionate about the assessment and recovery of trauma and complex trauma. She is also interested in forensic psychology, offering risk assessments, treatment recommendations, and preparing comprehensive court reports, including Pre-sentence and Parole Board reports. Her expertise extends to working with individuals over the age of 16, from diverse backgrounds, and she is deeply committed to a strength-based, person-centered approach in all aspects of her practice.
Utilizing an integrative approach to therapy, Namrata draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and Schema Therapy. By collaborating closely with her clients, she tailors each treatment plan to meet their unique needs and goals.
